Artificial intelligence models collect millions of inputs, process them and then transform them into something semi-new. It's the same way the human brain works when we sleep. People call it " dreams". Michal Špitálský's short experimental film follows the surrealist tradition of finding inspiration in the human subconscious and only contains a loose plot constructed from the author's dreams. The film is a digital stop-motion animation in a Dada collage style. In addition, all elements of the film have been generated by artificial intelligence models (simulating dream generation in our brains) and then reshaped by the human hand. In this way, the film touches on themes such as originality and the function of algorithms as an artist's tool.
